Join us for an enriching tour of Cairo's most fascinating cultural and historical sites! Next, we'll visit the Citadel of Salah El Din, a magnificent fortress that has played a pivotal role in Egyptian history for centuries. Inside, you'll explore the stunning Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, a breathtaking example of Ottoman architecture that is sure to take your breath away.
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we'll continue our tour to Coptic Cairo, where you'll marvel at the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon and visit one of the highlights of Old Cairo, the Hanging Church. You'll also have the opportunity to explore the Cavern Church, where the holy family stayed for three months, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, a site believed to be the location where Moses was found in the Nile River.
Our tour will then take you through Islamic Cairo, where you'll witness the relics of medieval Cairo, including the old walls, mosques, and gates of the city. You'll even get to walk along the old stone-paved streets that date back to the 10th century.
